All custom orders start with a sketch of the requested embroidery. The buyer must sign off on the concept before any stitching can begin. This sketch is not to be copied, redistributed, or used as a reference for other pieces of work. And is strictly the property of JDevinEmbroidery.
The project price quoted does not include an unlimited number of revisions. I, of course, want you to be satisfied with the final look and feel of the project and I’m sure you feel the same. Minor changes and adjustments are part of the process. Do-overs are a symptom of poor communication. The cost of a custom order will include two rounds of adjustments. Beyond that, the cost of further adjustments can be negotiated. This way of doing business works to your advantage as well as mine in that your project is finished in a timely manner and within your budget.
The project price is based upon a negotiated package price for the entire project. A verbal contract will be communicated before work begins.
Please not that the price quote does not include a (state) sales tax. Additionally if you choose PayPal as your form of payment, there is a service charge that will be computed based on the total payment. This will be itemized and added to the final invoice.
I reserve the right to post photos of the finished work and use my images for ads or other promotional material. If the piece is a gift and a surprise, I will refrain from posting any pictures until an agreed upon date.
There are no cancellations for pre-made item’s. If a custom order is requested, the buyer is responsible for half the cost up front and the remainder of the total cost when item is ready to ship. If a custom item is ordered and there’s been no response or input from the buyer, I reserve the right to cancel and refund the order after 2 weeks.
I do not accept refunds or returns on custom work. If you’re unhappy with your purchase, please contact me and I’ll do my best to make it right.
If an item is returned, it must be in its original condition. Buyers may be liable for loss in value of the item if it's returned in a different condition from which it was received, or if the item is not packaged securely to prevent damage in shipment. In the event that an item is returned damaged, a partial refund will be issued for the loss in the item's value.
This applies when the loss in value is due to handling of the goods which was not necessary for checking the condition. Customers are responsible for shipping costs for returns, except under special circumstances.
All packages are sent with tracking info. If an item does not reach you I will work with you to locate it. If a package is stolen, please file a mail theft report with your police. If the package is not located, you will have the option to get a refund for your order or have a new item made and shipped out.
Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. I’m not responsible for delays due to customs.
Customers are responsible for any state sales taxes.
